Short version: we collect as little as we can, and we don't sell anything.
Store data
Audits use only public information your store already publishes. Reports are stored so their link keeps working, and are reachable only by that unguessable link — except the audits we choose to publish in our reports library. Library pages show scores, issues and product names, never anyone's email. If your store is in the library and you'd like it removed, email hello@catalogaudit.app.
Your email
If you enter your email to see fixed products or ask us to fix your catalog, we store it with that report. We use it to send you the report and, at most, one follow-up. Ask us at hello@catalogaudit.app and we'll delete it.
Usage data and cookies
Report pages record anonymous interactions (opened, sections viewed, downloads) so we know which findings are useful. We store a salted hash of your IP address only to enforce daily usage limits; we never store the address itself. We set no cookies on public pages, with one exception: when you unlock a library report's fixed products, a cookie remembers that for that report.
Services we use
Cloudflare (hosting and bot protection) and OpenRouter, which passes product photos and copy to an AI model (Anthropic's Claude, with Google's Gemini as a fallback) to build the fixes.
